COVID-19, the cause of the current coronavirus outbreak, is rapidly spreading in the US. The lack of any significant testing to date means that the extent of disease in the US is currently being under-reported. Based on the presence of community spread and lack of organized containment efforts to date, the likelihood of widespread and sustained transmission of COVID-19 in the US high.

Do you think that you have coronavirus (COVID-19)? The four most common symptoms are:

  1. Fever (of >100.4 F)
  2. Cough
  3. Muscle pain/Tiredness
  4. Difficulty breathing that can be severe enough to cause people to seek hospital care

If you are experiencing fever, cough, or difficulty breathing, you should contact a health care provider (or hospital emergency room) for guidance.
